Celebrating its 21st year in business Blackbrook Zoological Park is the largest bird park in the UK!
Set in over 30 acres of Staffordshire countryside, with stunning views from every angle, the park is a haven for over 300 species of birds and animals.
Visit their new areas such as the pink aviary with its collection of flamingos, spoonbills and scarlet ibises. You can also visit the brand new free aviary where you can enjoy many species flying above their heads.
Blackbrook holds one of the finest penguin enclosures in Europe with its very own underwater viewing cave and raised walkways. Here you can also find small mammals including meerkats, lemurs, tamarid monkeys, visayan warty pigs, wallabies and giant tortoises.
Don't forget to check out their larger mammals like the Damara Zebra, Stiyatunge, Nilgai and blackbuck antelopes!
You can also visit the Zoo Shop, the Scarlet Tearoom and the penguin pop-in where you can check out the peckish penguins dive for their food. Don't worry as next to the penguin exhibit is a kiosk selling ice cream and drinks. At least you won't have to dive into freezing cold waters to enjoy some little treats!
